In 2014 we took a quick day trip up to Santa Barbara. 

We had a lovely lunch at a cafe, wandered around their beautiful downtown, 

stopped by a museum and a comic book store, and then topped 

the whole thing off with a lovely sea food dinner. 

We barely scratched the surface of this gorgeous and historic town, 

and can't wait to go back!

Santa Barbara courthouse is a gorgeous Spanish colonial revival structure from the late 20's.  

Downtown is home to numerous restaurants and shops. 

And is simply wonderful to walk around and explore the area.

The Santa Barbara Museum of Art is housed in a lovely historic building, 

and houses a collection that spans many contents and thousands of years.
